Vintage medium size LANE cedar hope chest, great home storage resolution for smaller items made in Oregon., USA. Those storage chests gifts were given to young woman in a purpose of encouraging future purchase of Lane cedar chests. This one was given by May's furniture store in Woodburn, OR. It has both marks under the lid.
This hope chest measures 9-1/8" long, 4-1/8" wide, and 4" tall. It looks very nice but has scraping marks and indentation from previous owner's use. Closing luck is present but there is no keys. Genuine LANE company cedar chest and a little piece of American furniture history.
